Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, says he’s actually given away more than $200 million through his YouTube videos, responding to a recent estimate of his giveaways.
MrBeast initially gained popularity on YouTube by giving away cars and cash to his friends. But his projects have grown significantly since then.
MrBeast has expanded his reach, collaborating with celebrities and other popular creators, and even launched his own show, Beast Games, on Amazon Prime Video. Despite his growing success, he continues to give away large cash prizes to his fans, particularly those who can successfully complete his monthly challenges.
It’s nearly impossible to calculate exactly what he’s given away, but Donaldson thinks the total value is much higher than any single number people are mentioning.
MrBeast says he’s given away more than $200 million
The YouTuber addressed a report stating he’s donated approximately $200 million over the past ten years on March 9th.
“I haven’t done the math, but I feel like it’s prob higher tbh,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Trying to figure out exactly how much MrBeast has given away would take a long time, but he’s definitely been giving away very large sums of money lately.
Now that Beast Games Season 2 has finished, Auguste Auger was crowned the winner and received a $5 million prize. However, the show wasn’t just about the grand prize; other contestants earned money throughout the season by completing challenges and receiving bonuses.
Plus, MrBeast—Donaldson—invited 50 popular online streamers to compete for a $1 million prize to give away to their viewers. He also revealed the solution to his challenging $1 million Super Bowl puzzle.
Jimmy is incredibly generous, having donated millions through his Beast Philanthropy channel to support various charities worldwide. Because of the constant giving and a dedicated fund within his company, Beast Industries – set aside for future charitable projects – it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly how much he’s given away.
