Okay, so Season 1 of Paradise totally blew my mind! It started as this murder mystery, but then things got crazy. Turns out, most of the world was wrecked by some huge disaster, and the whole season took place with everyone stuck in this underground bunker. Seriously, the twist was wild!
Season 2 brought in fresh mysteries and a new cast of characters. The first episode centered around Annie and Link, while the second continued the storyline of Xavier Collin. Episode 3 then shifted focus to Redmond.

What happened in Episode 4?

The latest episode of Paradise, ‘A Holy Charge,’ continued the show’s pattern of jumping between two different timeframes. This week focused on the births of two babies, but tragically, only one of the mothers lived.
A woman recently gave birth in the bunker, marking the first delivery there, and it was a close call. A Cesarean section, along with encouragement from President Cal Bradley, ensured both the mother and baby were safe.
Later in the episode, Redmond connects with the baby and tells her she hopes to one day show her the open sky, hinting that she’s making plans for what life will be like after they leave the bunker.
Right now, Link and his friends are making their way to the bunker. They finally get there and immediately start asking to be let in!

Most of the episode follows Xavier and Annie as they journey across the country. Their goal is to locate Xavier’s wife, Teri, in Atlanta, and then continue on to a hidden house in Colorado.
Their journey takes a heartbreaking turn when they find refuge in an old, deserted diner, and Annie unexpectedly goes into labor. A baby girl is born with the help of friendly people nearby, but Annie tragically loses too much blood and dies, passing away in Xavier’s arms.
As Annie’s life nears its end, she entrusts a letter for her child to Xavier and asks him to care for the baby. Xavier does so, traveling to Atlanta with the child where he encounters a person who says they knew Teri and claims she’s been kidnapped.
