You’ll find a marker on your map pointing towards Horsehelm Village. Follow it to the village to start this Lost Chapter.

A Wellspring Of Hope Walkthrough

In Horsehelm Village, go up to the big Rainbone Flower and take a look at it. This will trigger an attack, and you’ll be thrown to a ruined village to the west, where you’ll encounter a strange woman.

Talk to her, then go to sleep. When you wake up, go northeast and find the woman sitting by a wagon. Talk to her again, and then repair the broken well. After another conversation with the woman, jump down into the well.

Inside the well, continue forward. Use Cosmic Reversal to remove the rocks blocking your way, creating a path. Then, use Reversal again to lift the floating wood and form a bridge across the gap. Finally, slide down the tunnel.

Go into the next room and flip the baskets so they hang correctly. Then, use the Cloud Step ability to jump up to the higher ledge. Continue along the path until you find a room with Rainbone Flowers in a hole. Beat the flowers, then reverse the direction of the lift and any nearby objects. Step onto the lift and wait for the reversal effect to end; this will cause the lift to rise and take you out of the pit.

Go back and open the previously blocked entrance, then continue along the path. After dealing with the enemies, clear away more rubble to reveal the path and keep moving forward.

In the big open room, stand on the wooden platform nearest the back wall. Then, use Cosmic Reversal to raise the platform until it’s even with the cliff edge. Be careful not to overdo the Cosmic Reversal, or you’ll fall!

Go into the next room and turn things around to create a new path. Then, take the right path to find a chest. Return to where the path splits, and this time go left to continue. Follow the path upwards, past the Rainbones, and enter the next room. Be ready to fight two Skeletal Blooms that will attack you there.

Okay, so I took down those enemies and then used my powers to put all the rubble back where it belonged – that opened up a hole in the ground. I jumped down, and found myself back in that familiar room. Then, I used reversal and Cloud Step to get out of there. After that, it was just following the path back to the room with the lift and continuing on like I did before.

Slide down the sandy path, and then use Cosmic Reversal repeatedly to remove the rubble. Climb the rope to the top of the rock and sit down. Finally, use Cosmic Reversal again to fix the oil lamp.

Holding the oil lamp, exit the cave by following the path, then talk to the woman again to finish the quest.
