The season finale of The Beast Games is here, and after tough competition, only one of the six contestants will take home the $5 million prize. However, many viewers are focused on contestant 191, also known as Cory Sims, after what happened in the latest episode.
The tenth episode of Season 2 is now available on Prime Video, and it reveals the finalists! Joining Cory are Tyler (Player 167), Hannah (Player 99), Jack (Player 58), Auguste (Player 172), and Brett (Player 195).
MrBeast had the contestants compete in various challenges, like kicking balls at targets and memorizing a tower of colorful blocks, to see who could advance to the final round.
Okay, so the last episode was a total rollercoaster – seriously, the tension was insane, there were some crazy twists, and everyone got a huge payout! But honestly, a lot of us fans are now feeling like Cory got a raw deal and we want things to be made right. Just a heads-up, I’m about to spoil things if you haven’t seen it yet!
Player 191 Cory leaves with lowest finalist prize

Tyler was the winner of Beast Games Season 2, and Cory finished second. However, because Tyler didn’t take much during the ‘Buried Alive’ challenge, his prize money was only $17,133, and many fans believe he should have won more.
While $17,133 is a good amount of money, it’s noticeably lower than what other finalists won, especially considering Cory reached the final two. This difference hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Tyler took home a total of $5.1 million, and many other contestants also won significant amounts of money during the competition. Here are the details:
- Player 148 (Ian) – $1,800,000
- Player 195 (Brett) – $1,193,000
- Player 126 (JT) – $1,000,000
- Player 152 (Monika) – $510,000
- Player 118 (Nick) – $342,264
- Player 38 (Kady) – $160,057
- Player 173 (Jim) – $137,547
- Player 21 (Ethan) – $50,000
- Player 58 (Jack) – $40,000
Early in Season 2, ten players each won $100,000 by trading places with ten contestants from Season 1, including the original winner, Jeffrey Randall Allen.

Although MrBeast gave each participant $1,000 just for being on the show, Cory actually earned less than all the other finalists when you don’t include that initial amount.
Viewers have also been impressed by Cory’s sportsmanship and kindness. Even though Tyler won, Cory didn’t seem upset at all. He warmly congratulated Tyler with a hug, genuinely telling him, “I’m happy for you, brother. I really mean that, and I love you.”
When Tyler expressed his sympathy, Cory responded, “Don’t worry about me, be happy for yourself! Enjoy this—it’s your moment, and you should focus on living it. I’m okay, so don’t feel bad.”
He told MrBeast he was happy for him if anyone deserved to win, and that he had no regrets about trying for the $5 million prize. Cory said the experience was one of the best of his life, and he knew he’d always wonder ‘what if’ if he hadn’t tried.
Beast Games Season 2 viewers want “justice”

One Reddit user praised Cory as a deserving runner-up, highlighting his integrity throughout the game. Even though he won a small prize, Cory genuinely congratulated Tyler and encouraged him to enjoy his win.
He didn’t win the prize money, but he was a true legend and set a fantastic example for his children. He was a real champion.
One person called it the most dignified confrontation they’d ever witnessed, and another shared heartfelt sympathy, saying the individual truly deserved better.
Some people feel Cory didn’t receive enough and wished he’d finished in third place to get a better outcome. One person commented, “I was hoping he’d get third place, so he’d leave with something.”

One person felt he deserved second place, while another expressed sympathy and wished he’d accepted the bribe instead of Brett.
Someone proposed awarding the finalist $100,000, arguing that without a significant prize, there’s no real motivation to compete in the final round. The competition includes a unique twist: the three finalists are each offered a bribe with the option to voluntarily withdraw.
So, Brett actually won the whole thing – a million bucks! Someone was saying that if they added a smaller prize, like $100,000, guaranteed, it would make people play more aggressively at the end because they’d have something secured even if they didn’t win everything. It’d definitely change up the strategy, I think.
Someone else stated, “We need to get justice for Cory.” Another person added that if they were in Tyler’s position, they would have shared some of the money.

Some people feel that’s just how the game goes. As one person put it, “He’s only winning $17,000, and he really earned much more, but ultimately, it’s just a game.”
I’ve gotta say, Cory’s really built up a great community! He’s got over 32,000 people following him on Instagram, and he uses it to share what’s important to him – his faith and family life. It’s cool to see a streamer be so open about that stuff.
