Critter Club recently shared photos from Disneyland showing funny, Cars-themed posters for Marvel movies. The posters are currently on display at the park and playfully reimagine films like Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine. Each movie also got a new, Cars-inspired title – like “Iron Van,” “Captain Ameri-Car,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Station,” and “Carpool & Gasoline.”

Marvel Studios has two big films planned for this year: the new Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, and the eagerly awaited Avengers: Doomsday. Both are part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Doomsday will notably bring back Robert Downey Jr., but this time playing a different role – the iconic villain Doctor Doom. Directed once again by Joe and Anthony Russo, the fifth Avengers film is scheduled for release on December 18th. Following that, Avengers: Secret Wars is set to hit theaters on December 17, 2027.

John Lasseter created the popular animated Cars franchise. The first movie in 2006 was so successful that it led to two sequels, released in 2011 and 2017. There were also two spin-off movies, Planes (2013) and Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014). Currently, Pixar is developing a new spin-off series called Cars: Lightning Racers, which is planned to premiere around 2027.
