This weekend has a lot of new shows hitting streaming services, but these five are the most captivating and perfect for watching all at once.
Looking for something new to watch this weekend? Ebaster has picked the top 5 series for a binge, including a crime thriller on Prime Video, a true crime series from HBO, a popular dramedy on Paramount+, a trending reality documentary on Netflix, and an action-packed fantasy epic from HBO Max.
Lynley
Lynley is a four-episode crime thriller now available on Prime Video. It unexpectedly started gaining popularity on U.S. streaming charts in September 2025, possibly because the new series Young Sherlock is about to launch.
The series Lynley centers around detective inspector Thomas Lynley and his partner, Barbara Havers. Despite their very different backgrounds and personalities, they form a remarkably effective crime-solving team. This four-episode series is adapted from the Inspector Lynley novels by Elizabeth George.
Murder In Glitterball City
HBO Max’s new two-part docuseries, Murder In Glittberball City, premiered on February 19th and investigates the 2010 murder of Jamie Carroll. Carroll’s body was discovered in the basement of a house in Louisville, Kentucky, and the series unravels the details of this gripping true crime story.
Before he was killed, Carroll was a local figure known for both his drag performances and involvement in drug dealing. The series follows the accusations exchanged between the two main suspects, Jeffrey Mundt and Joey Banis, as they each blamed the other for Carroll’s death until the real story emerged.
Dreaming Whilst Black
The original series Dreaming Whilst Black is available on Paramount+, and despite not getting enough attention, it’s been praised by critics, earning a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season has six episodes totaling 2 hours and 29 minutes, and the second season will debut on February 20th.
Dreaming Whilst Black is a series about a filmmaker facing a big choice: keep his stable job, or take a chance on his passion and pursue his filmmaking dreams. New episodes of season 2 will drop every Friday until March 27th.
Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model
This week, the most popular new series on Netflix is the 3-part documentary, Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model. At almost three hours long, this series is currently trending worldwide and makes for a great binge-watching session, particularly for fans of the original America’s Next Top Model.
Reality Check includes fresh interviews with former contestants and host Tyra Banks. The series tells the story of the popular reality show’s success and eventual decline, and re-examines the controversies that arose after it ended in 2018, impacting its reputation.
A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms
For the first time this weekend, you can watch all six episodes of HBO Max’s excellent Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Once the final episode of season one is released on Sunday, February 22nd, the entire six-episode fantasy series will be available, totaling 3 hours and 30 minutes – making it ideal for a weekend binge-watching session.
Unlike Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, episodes of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are relatively short, making it easy to watch the whole season in one go. After two episodes that received very high scores (9.7 and 9.8 on IMDb), the season one finale is shaping up to be fantastic.
