Hermès is selling a $300,000 pool table with matching $5K sticks

Hermès is selling a pool table for $296,700, easily the most expensive way to sink an eight ball.

Hermès, the famous French luxury brand known for items like Birkin bags and silk scarves, is selling a pool table for nearly $300,000. Surprisingly, the price tag of $296,700 is higher than the cost of some homes.

This French-made billiard table is 8 feet long and has elegantly curved, lacquered legs and rails. It includes a cabinet and pockets covered in durable Regate taurillon leather, and the playing surface is a blend of 90% wool and 10% nylon.

Honestly, even the little things about this table feel super high-end. It comes with four pool cues made of maple wood – they’ve got leather grips and really smooth hornbeam shafts. And get this, if you somehow manage to break a cue, you can buy a replacement for over five grand! Seriously, $5,100 for a single stick. It’s a bit much, but it shows you the level of luxury they’re going for.

The collection includes a bakelite rack with a lacquered finish and leather accents, along with leather-covered billiard chalk and a Hermès-branded cover.

Hermès’ most expensive home items

Hermès says the table has a classic, instantly recognizable design. It combines textured leather with shiny, polished surfaces to create a look that’s both striking and enduring. This translates to details like leather stitching that matches your game equipment and a beautifully polished finish.

Okay, so it’s expensive – really expensive. But honestly, it kinda fits with everything else Hermès makes. They’ve got a whole line of luxury home stuff, and I mean luxury. Like, a backgammon set for over twenty-seven grand, a chess table that costs more than my car ($130,400!), a lamp for $21,700, and even a folding chair for sixteen thousand bucks. It’s wild!

Hermès started in Paris in 1837 as a workshop making horse harnesses. They became known for their skilled leatherwork and later expanded into clothing and items for the home. Their new pool table is a recent example of how they transform ordinary objects into luxurious, designer pieces.

If you happen to have around $296,700 burning a hole in your pocket and a ton of space, you can pretty much guarantee your game nights will never be boring again. Seriously, it’s a way to take things to the next level!

Logan Paul recently sold a Pokémon card for more than $16 million – that’s enough money to buy a lot of luxury items, like several high-end pool tables!
