“67 challenge” goes viral as streamers try to beat record for most 67s in 20 seconds

Twitch streamers are quickly joining a new viral trend called the “67 challenge.” It’s a fast-paced test to see how many times players can pump their arms up and down in 20 seconds, and popular streamers like ohnepixel, xQc, StableRonaldo, and JasontheWeen are all participating.

This challenge relies on the ’67 Speed’ website, which uses your webcam to monitor your movements. To complete it, you simply stand in front of your camera with your elbows bent and rapidly alternate moving your arms up and down for 20 seconds.

This straightforward system has quickly become popular with streamers, who are now competing to achieve the highest rankings in their respective countries.

Streamers battle for 67 speed records

I remember when ohnepixel, a popular CS streamer from Germany, tried this challenge! His attempt at 380 points was amazing – it actually put him at the top of the leaderboard in Germany for a while, and it really helped get everyone talking about the challenge.

But, his viral attempt led to others challenging him for the crown, and he was soon usurped.

xQc achieved a score of 240, but StableRonaldo did much better with 488. JasontheWeen almost equaled that with 448 on his first attempt, then significantly improved to 515 on his second try – one of the highest scores from a streamer yet.

The current world record is a little unusual. The website shows several users all tied at 1000, which likely means the leaderboard has a limit and can’t display scores higher than that, possibly due to a technical issue.

Since over 500 creators have joined in just a few days, it won’t be surprising if more well-known streamers start competing for the top spot soon.

Somehow, the 67 meme lives on – after being named word of the year in 2025.
