Manga Plus is letting fans choose their most-loved panels from manga to be printed on official t-shirts.
Manga Plus is the official platform from Shueisha for reading manga, and it’s accessible through both its website and mobile app.
The platform offers new chapters of popular manga from Weekly Shōnen Jump, and also includes content from other publishers.
This manga collection features popular series such as One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Sakamoto Days, Bleach, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Naruto – and now you can find them on clothing!
Your favourite manga pages can now be turned into t-shirts
Okay, so Manga Plus just dropped a cool new feature! Basically, you can now design your own t-shirts using panels from the manga we read on the app. They’ll officially print it for you! Here’s the official explanation of how it all works…
Fans can now turn their favorite manga pages into custom t-shirts! Simply choose a page from any language on our platform, and we’ll print it on a shirt. The artwork and text will be the original Japanese version, bringing a unique manga experience to life beyond reading.
The original Japanese print is always the first version released. For magazines like Weekly Shonen Jump – including series like One Piece and Sakamoto Days – this is the magazine version. These initial releases might have extra promotional material or minor differences compared to the translated copies.
We offer T-shirts in sizes small through triple extra-large, and they’re available in white, black, navy, and grey.
This feature works with over 270 different manga series, but not every page is available. As the announcement explains, you can only create from pages that are specifically marked with a ‘Create’ icon – not all titles, chapters, or pages qualify. The icon will appear in the bottom right corner of eligible pages.
The service is now accessible worldwide, excluding Japan, China, and Korea, through both our app and website. T-shirts are priced at $39.99, with additional shipping costs and fees varying by location.
Recently, Japan announced a $650,000 investment in an AI system designed to identify illegally copied manga pages. Meanwhile, South Korea has passed a new law aimed at fighting manga piracy.
