Borderlands 4 Nintendo Switch 2 development paused

As Variety reported, 2K and Gearbox Software have temporarily stopped work on the Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4.

According to Take-Two spokesperson Alan Lewis, the company is concentrating on providing new content and improvements after the game’s release. Borderlands 4 was highlighted during the first Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation, and Gearbox Software developers Randy Pitchford and Randy Varnell offered an in-depth look at the game in a creator video. Currently, a specific release date for the Switch 2 version hasn’t been announced.
