Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 Trailer Teases Climactic Sophie & Benedict Scene After Controversial Offer

The second part of Bridgerton season 4 is coming later this month, and Netflix has just released a new trailer showing Sophie Baek and Benedict Bridgerton becoming increasingly intimate.

The fourth season of Bridgerton centers on Benedict (Luke Thompson), the second Bridgerton brother, and his attempts to navigate the expectations of society and his mother, Violet (Ruth Gemmell), to find a wife. During a masquerade ball, he encounters a captivating woman in a silver gown, sharing a brief, romantic connection before she disappears.

Sophie Baek, a maid rejected by her family, is revealed to be the mysterious Lady in Silver, and Benedict unknowingly begins a search to find her, reminiscent of the Cinderella story.

Netflix just dropped a sneak peek at the second half of Bridgerton’s fourth season! Fans are eager to find out if Benedict will finally meet the elusive Lady in Silver, and whether Sophie will take on a new role. The preview suggests the season will closely follow the storyline of Julia Quinn’s book, An Offer From A Gentleman.

The first four episodes of the show have sparked a lot of online debate, mainly because Benedict made a daring proposal to Sophie – asking her to become his mistress. Sophie is currently working as a maid at Bridgerton house, secretly hiding her true identity as the Lady in Silver. Despite being Lord Penwood’s illegitimate daughter, she’s forced to work as a servant due to her cruel stepmother, Araminta, who took control after Lord Penwood’s death.

So far, Netflix has released the first four episodes of Bridgerton season 4, and it’s getting a mixed reaction. Critics give part one of the season an 81% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while viewers currently give it a 67% rating.

While it’s still unknown who will take center stage in season 5, filming has already begun. With Francesca’s recent marriage and questions about Eloise finding a match, either of the Bridgerton sisters could be the focus of the next season and all the attention that comes with it.

Bridgerton is available to stream on Netflix, with part 2 of season 4 premiering on February 26.
