The documentary ‘One This Day… 1776’ features real people voicing historical figures, while the images you see are generated by artificial intelligence.
Aronofsky is producing the project through his company, Primordial Soup, which focuses on artificial intelligence. He’s utilizing technology from Google DeepMind as part of an existing partnership.
New episodes are being released on Time’s YouTube channel. Ben Bitonti, president of Time Studios, explained that this project showcases how AI can be used creatively by artists – not to replace traditional skills, but to unlock new storytelling possibilities and reach places previously impossible.
