Donald Trump makes a quick appearance in the fourth season of Industry, but his surprise golf scene has a twist.
The hit show Industry is returning for its fourth season, airing on HBO in the United States and the BBC in the United Kingdom.
This popular drama is set in the high-stakes world of London’s finance industry, where driven young investment bankers compete fiercely, often mixing their personal and professional lives in a web of betrayal and ambition.
The show’s latest season features some changes: fan favorite Robert is gone, but several well-known actors have joined the cast, including Charlie Heaton, Claire Forlani, Max Minghella, Kal Penn, and Kiernan Shipka. The biggest surprise, however, was an unexpected cameo by the US President in the very first episode.
Does Donald Trump cameo in Industry Season 4?

Donald Trump makes a quick cameo in Season 4 of Industry, but it’s not the actual President – an impersonator appears briefly in the background.
About 35 minutes into the show, Eric Tao (played by Ken Leung) makes his first appearance, enjoying a cigar on a golf course. He’s with some friends, and their conversation revolves around financial topics like allowances, endowments, deregulation, and compound interest.
The group ahead is causing a delay, and we overheard someone nearby jokingly ask how many extra golf balls his security team has with them.
We spotted the group up ahead, and the man who was golfing stood out because he was wearing white shoes, black pants, a light blue shirt, and a red baseball cap – an outfit that strongly resembled Donald Trump’s style.

To verify who he was speaking with – and mentioning a specific presidential code – Eric questioned if anyone had ever been permitted to bypass security, receiving the reply, “Never.”
While Trump is golfing, people nearby are making fun of him. One person joked that he yells “fake news” when his ball goes out of bounds, and another said he enjoys playing with Tiger Woods because it lets him pretend to be a champion for civil rights.
Eric and his friends grew impatient waiting for him to finish the hole, so they ended their game, unintentionally leading to a brief appearance by Donald Trump.
