The developers of Dispatch have shared that there’s potentially a secret endgame feature no player has found yet, according to their internal data.
In an interview with Eurogamer, AdHoc’s Nick Herman revealed that the game concludes with a secret personality assessment of the main character, Robert. This assessment, based on player choices, determines whether Robert is ultimately seen as an ordinary person or a flawed hero, with four distinct endings possible.
As a long-time fan, I’ve always been fascinated by these things, and apparently the studio has only managed to create three of them so far! Herman, who knows the technical side of things, says the data suggests they might never be able to create the last possible version. It’s a little disheartening, but honestly, it just makes the existing ones even more special.
Dispatch still has one game state that remains hidden
He explained that he hadn’t encountered that particular content before, and their data suggested no one else had either.
The challenge isn’t about chance; it’s about skill. Players need to truly master the game’s mechanics, not rely on luck. As Herman put it, “It’s about proving you’ve perfected the game,” though he admits he doesn’t think anyone has achieved that yet.

The developers aren’t sure if they can actually make this happen, as there might be a technical issue blocking players from reaching it.
Herman conceded it could simply be a technical error. He explained that while they hadn’t expected anyone to encounter the issue, it was likely a bug anyway.
My co-founder and lead writer, Pierre Shorette, agreed, playfully suggesting the missing result might be hidden due to an error on our end. He said, “We created a version you can’t see because, well, we messed it up.”
