
I was so excited to see Tfue back on Twitch! It’s been over a year since he left, and he said he’s rediscovered how much he loves gaming. It’s awesome to have him streaming again!
When Fortnite became incredibly popular, many streamers gained a large following. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Tfue were among the most prominent, and Tfue quickly established himself as a top competitive player.
I’ve been watching Tfue for a while now, and it’s been cool to see him grow beyond just gaming. He really turned his popularity from streaming into a huge YouTube following, and he’s been making all sorts of videos that aren’t even about games! Honestly, he’s been streaming on Twitch less and less lately, and he stopped competing in tournaments a while ago, so it’s clear his focus has shifted.
It became common for popular Twitch streamers to take long breaks. Tfue, for example, stopped streaming on Twitch after November 2024 and joined Kick during that time. He’s now returned to streaming on Twitch.
Tfue unsure how long Twitch return will last
Tfue is back on Twitch after a year-long break, and he says he’s been having fun playing games again.
I’m only streaming because I’ve been having fun playing video games, and it feels a little embarrassing to admit that, but it’s true. Things have been pretty boring lately, but I’m actually enjoying this, so I figured I might as well go live!
The streamer, who used to compete in Fortnite, said he was anxious about starting his broadcast, as it had been two and a half years since he streamed regularly.
He admitted it felt strange, noting it had been a while. Unlike most streamers who broadcast daily, he simply doesn’t force himself. If he’s not having fun streaming or playing a game, he won’t do it, regardless of expectations.
He didn’t start playing Fortnite, though. Instead, Tfue went back to Twitch and began playing Arc Raiders, a game that’s become popular with many streamers recently.
The former Fortnite star had a successful return to streaming, with his 15-hour broadcast peaking at nearly 20,000 viewers. He averaged just under 14,000 viewers throughout the stream, according to TwitchTracker.
It remains to be seen if he will, indeed, go live on a more consistent basis now.
