The first trailer is out for the movie version of Emily Henry’s popular novel, People We Meet on Vacation. Netflix gave fans a sneak peek at the evolving relationship between Alex (played by Tom Blyth) and Poppy (Emily Bader), showing their connection as it develops over years and across different countries. In a key moment, Poppy tells Alex, “On vacation, you can be anyone you want,” and explains she loves to travel to truly be herself. They promise to take a summer trip together every year, and as they do, their feelings for each other are put to the test. Brett Haley directed the film, with a screenplay by Yulin Kuang. People We Meet on Vacation will start streaming on Netflix on January 9th – no time off work required!
