QTCinderella has publicly criticized gambling sites for allowing bets on The Streamer Awards, and says her legal team has been in touch with them regarding the issue.
For a long time, online streamers and content creators have felt left out of traditional end-of-year award shows. While some shows have started adding categories like ‘Streamer of the Year,’ these additions often lead to criticism and controversy around the nominees.
QTCinderella has hosted The Streamer Awards for the past several years, honoring top content creators on Twitch. The 2025 show is scheduled for December 6th, but some people are already raising concerns about who has been nominated.
Traditionally, viewers and creators share their predictions for the show’s nominees, as the winners are chosen by fan vote. This year, however, prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi are allowing people to wager money on their predictions, adding a new financial element to the process.
QTCinderella has lawyers on Streamer Awards gambling
QT recently found out about accusations of “insider trading” and was upset. She explained to a fan who brought it up in her live stream, “We’ve already sent a legal notice, but thank you for accusing me in chat.”
Let me be clear: I have absolutely no connection to that website and do not support it in any way. I want to state definitively that I am not involved with them. In fact, I’m so concerned about it that my legal team is in contact with theirs. I want everyone to understand that.
QT has stated she’s not involved with a website using the Streamer Awards for betting and doesn’t approve of it. Her legal team is currently in discussions with the website’s lawyers, and she advises people not to participate.

She stated she definitely does not want to be linked to that website and is upset they published her IP address without permission from anyone involved. She emphasized this is unacceptable.
“I am not happy. If people want to lose their money on something stupid, don’t.”
Whether QT will succeed in getting the markets removed is still uncertain, but legal teams are now handling the situation, as she mentioned.
