The latest season of Stranger Things is here, and it includes a working phone number featured as part of a ‘missing child’ storyline – you can actually call it!
Stranger Things 5 is already packed full of clues, Easter eggs, and details for eagle-eyed fans.
The first installment of the series introduced the character Mr. Whatsit, corrected a significant error from a previous reveal, featured the song ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ by Tiffany, and ended with a surprising twist that paved the way for the events in the second installment.
Just before the new season premiered, one of the show’s creators, Ross Duffer, shared a key message for fans. As the episodes began, a phone number flashed on the screen, adding another layer to the show’s already expansive universe created by him and his brother.
Stranger Things message is for “responsible citizens of Hawkins”

At the start of Season 5, Eleven is secretly training intensely, getting ready for a confrontation with Vecna in the Upside Down.
In the first episode, called ‘The Crawl,’ posters at Hawkins High School identify her as the missing Jane Hopper and offer a reward for any information about her whereabouts.
The flyer includes the phone number 765-303-2020. When Entertainment Weekly called, they heard a recording stating that the Hawkins Police Department had initiated a lockdown due to a recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake, prioritizing the safety of residents.
The Hawkins Emergency Task Force is collaborating with the Hawkins Police Department to find missing people, and locating Jane Hopper is their top priority.
The message asks you, as a resident of Hawkins, to help find her, then the connection is cut off.
