Cristin Milioti ended her Emmy Awards acceptance speech with an enthusiastic, “I love acting so much, wooo!” She won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her performance in *The Penguin*. Milioti played Sofia Falcone, a member of Gotham’s Falcone crime family, who clashed with Colin Farrell’s character, Oz Cobb, for control of the city. Despite wanting to be brief – mindful of Nate Bargatze’s timekeeping – Milioti couldn’t help but express her passion for acting and her appreciation for her colleagues. Milioti jokingly revealed she’d written her speech on the back of her therapy notes, asking people not to look. She shared how much she enjoyed working on the show and playing Sofia, calling it a ‘bright spot’ in a difficult world.
