Starting Wednesday, November 19th, McDonald’s UK is offering a new Mayo Chicken Happy Meal across the country. Each meal also comes with a collectible toy from the Elf on the Shelf Santaverse collection.
As a big McDonald’s fan, I always look forward to their holiday stuff! It’s become a tradition for them to do something special each year, like partnering with toy brands or releasing limited-edition packaging. This new launch is just the latest example of that, and I’m excited to see what they’ve come up with this time!
Okay, so the game just got updated, and I’m super happy they made the Mayo Chicken a permanent item! It’s staying on the menu with the classics like the McFish and Veggie Dippers. Plus, they’ve given the fruit and veggie sides a little seasonal makeover – the carrot sticks are now called Reindeer Treats, which is a cute touch!
I’m so excited! McDonald’s is partnering with The Elf on the Shelf, and they’re releasing a whole collection of 12 adorable plush toys from the Elf on the Shelf Santaverse in Happy Meals! Plus, each one will come with a special storybook. It’s all thanks to The Lumistella Company, who are the folks behind the Elf on the Shelf brand.

Santaverse events coming to restaurants
Throughout the school holidays, select McDonald’s restaurants in the UK will be offering fun activities for families, including character meet-and-greets, face painting, and special activity sheets. You can find a schedule of events at participating locations on the McDonald’s website.
The Santaverse collection features plush toys based on characters from the Elf on the Shelf world. Customers can also choose a book with a new story starring these Santaverse characters.
The Mayo Chicken Happy Meal will cost about £4.19, but prices can differ depending on the McDonald’s location. Each Happy Meal comes with a main dish, a fruit or vegetable, and a small drink, plus a toy or book as long as they’re available.
McDonald’s UK is partnering with Santaverse, while McDonald’s in Portugal is currently offering Happy Meal toys inspired by the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things.
