PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members received 9 new games yesterday. Unfortunately, those same 9 titles will be removed from the service in December. This includes popular games like the classic GTA III, the often-discussed Battlefield 2042, and Forspoken, which didn’t quite live up to expectations for many players.
You can buy a PS Plus subscription here.
Games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium on December 16
- Arcade Paradise VR;
- Battlefield 2042;
- Firefighting Simulator: The Squad;
- Forspoken;
- Grand Theft Auto III;
- Sonic Frontiers;
- Star Trek: Bridge Crew;
- Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge;
- Surviving Mars.
The list actually has some really compelling titles, much better than the ones I initially mentioned. Standouts include Sonic Frontiers, a fast-paced 3D platformer with Sonic the Hedgehog, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad, which has received a lot of positive attention for its realistic simulation, and Surviving Mars, a strategy game where you get to build and manage a colony on Mars.
