Danny Go, the popular YouTuber and entertainer for kids, shared the heartbreaking news that his 14-year-old son, Isaac Daniel Coleman, has passed away after fighting stage 3 mouth cancer.
Actor Coleman, known for the children’s show Danny Go!, announced on Instagram May 22nd that his son, Isaac, had passed away on May 21st. Isaac had been battling a long series of health issues and was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 3 mouth cancer. He also lived with Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic condition that makes people more likely to develop cancer.
“My dear son,” Coleman wrote, “I have so much I want to express, but I’m still trying to find the words. I miss you terribly, and the grief I feel is overwhelming.”

Going through all your photos and videos this past week made me incredibly proud. Even though the last fourteen years brought a lot of difficulties, you faced everything with remarkable strength and still managed to stay positive and joyful.

Throughout 2026, Coleman kept fans informed about Isaac’s health. In January, he revealed that Isaac had a lengthy, over eight-hour surgery to remove cancer. The operation was more involved than anticipated, requiring doctors to remove multiple teeth and tissue from his mouth, and reconstruct soft tissue using a large skin graft from his leg.
By February, we found out Isaac’s cancer was stage 3, which was really tough news. On top of that, because of his Fanconi anemia, the doctors said our options for treatment were pretty limited. It felt like we were up against a wall, honestly.
In an update last April, Coleman shared that Isaac’s cancer was continuing to spread quickly. The family had decided to focus on keeping him comfortable and had brought in a hospice team to help manage his pain. They are now prioritizing making each day as peaceful as possible.

Coleman expressed his gratitude to fans for their support, sharing that he, his wife Mindy, and their family were doing their best to cope while spending precious time with Isaac.
I was really touched by what Coleman said after Isaac passed away. He shared that being Isaac’s father was the greatest honor of his life, and it just showed how much he loved his son. It was a really moving tribute.
He shared that thinking about how much love his son received and how vibrant his life was brought him peace. He expressed immense pride and eternal love, wishing his son a peaceful rest.
Danny Go! is a hit children’s entertainment brand that started in 2019. You can find its content on YouTube and streaming services like Netflix, where it’s featured as an interactive series with Coleman, Michael Finster, and Matthew Padgett.
According to reports, Coleman had previously canceled Danny Go’s 2026 tour to focus on his family while his son, Isaac, was sick.
