Kuro Games revealed that a new update for Wuthering Waves, version 3.0 titled “We Who See the Stars,” will feature a special collaboration with characters from SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog and ATLUS’s Persona. This collaboration will be available when the update launches on December 25th.
A special event is happening in Wuthering Waves until February 4th! It includes unique items and designs inspired by Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, and Sonic the Hedgehog. To participate, players need to reach Union Level 8 and unlock the Resonance Nexus at Startorch Academy by completing Chapter III Act I of the main story. Before the upcoming event, fans can watch a new gameplay video for Wuthering Waves Version 3.0. The video introduces the Lahai-Roi region, a fast new vehicle called the Expedition Motorbike, and two new playable characters: Mornye and Lynae. Mornye is a quiet professor from Startorch Academy who studies how to break the boundaries of space and time, while Lynae is a talented student known for her driving skills and creativity.
The award-winning game Wuthering Waves, recognized by The Game Awards 2025 with the Player’s Voice award, is now available on a wide range of devices! You can play it on Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 5, and PC through Windows, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. It also works with the Steam Deck, and will probably be compatible with the future Steam Machine.
A physical version of Wuthering Waves for PlayStation 5, called the Deluxe Collection, will be available in spring 2026. This special edition includes a unique metal display with artwork from the game, an acrylic stand featuring the game’s two main characters, decorative acrylic paper, a collectible postcard, and codes to unlock items within the game.
