Whitney Leavitt is thrilled to be making her Broadway debut! She’ll be playing Roxie Hart in Chicago for a limited run, from February 2nd to March 15th, 2026. She shared the exciting news on TikTok with a post saying she’s incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to perform in New York City.
During a recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Meri Leavitt, hinted that a dance she did with Mark Ballas on Dancing With the Stars would be revisited. She had previously performed songs from Wicked and Chicago – shows known for regularly casting celebrities as Roxie Hart – strongly suggesting she’d be taking the role on Broadway. Leavitt joins a long list of Dancing With the Stars alumni who have played the part on Broadway, including Ariana Madix, Mira Sorvino, Lisa Rinna, Mel B, Brandy, Pamela Anderson, and Melora Hardin. This raises the question: is DWTS secretly a training ground for Broadway roles? If so, perhaps Miss Piggy should be next!
