WhistlinDiesel destroys $80,000 humanoid robot during intense durability test

I was watching WhistlinDiesel, and it was wild! He basically got a really expensive, $80,000 humanoid robot – he calls it Ben – and put it through all sorts of crazy “durability tests.” Unfortunately, things didn’t end well for Ben… he totally destroyed it! It was pretty shocking to watch, honestly.

The YouTuber’s latest video starts with Dewiler both verbally and physically challenging the robot, which then leads to a series of tests. We see Ben attempting risky stunts like stepping off edges, walking into water, and even handling weapons, including a machete. At one point, the robot is asked to babysit, and disturbingly offers a machete to a child.

The testing moved to a house, and things didn’t go smoothly. The robot accidentally smashed a mirror, damaged a wall, and even broke through a door while simulating a “burglary test.” Outside, WhistlinDiesel really put Ben to the test – he drove a truck into it, took it for a ride through downtown Nashville, and surprisingly, even used it to mow a lawn.

Robot destroyed and sold for parts

The damage worsened as a truck hit the robot again and again, eventually tearing it apart. Ultimately, fragments of Ben were put up for sale.

Over time, WhistlinDiesel has become incredibly popular thanks to his videos of him destroying expensive items, most often cars.

In February 2025, a YouTuber famously destroyed a $400,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom by shredding it. He then sold the resulting pieces to his fans through his website.

Several months later, WD brought together a group of friends to destroy a Tesla Cybertruck using C4 explosives, along with punches from Jake Paul, and participation from other influencers like Mike Majlak, and others.

We don’t yet know what his next challenge will be, but Detwiler has announced he’s searching for a Bugatti worth millions of dollars to dismantle as a special event for hitting 10 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. He plans to completely destroy the car as part of the celebration, marking a significant milestone for his content.
