Season 3 of Euphoria has returned, and here’s how and when to catch the latest episode, number 3.

The new season of Euphoria kicked off with a thrilling first episode centered on Rue. It showed her making a dangerous trip to the US-Mexico border to move drugs for Laurie, and hinted at a spiritual awakening.

This episode was really emotional for me, honestly. They paid tribute to some of the Euphoria family we lost between seasons one and two, like Angus Cloud. It was tough, but they made the choice to keep his character, Fez, in the show, which I really appreciated.

What happened in Episode 2?

The latest episode of Euphoria explores Maddy’s past, shows Rue making a risky bargain, and depicts Cal and Nate facing difficult challenges.

In Episode 2, we see what happens after Maddy finishes school – she gets a job at a competitive management agency, starting in an entry-level position.

Okay, so things get a little crazy – I mean, Maddy basically went rogue. She started managing an influencer on the sly and then tried to set her up with one of the actors she already works with. It was all super secret, though!

The influencer began posting adult content, which her boss discovered, leading to a reprimand for Maddy. Maddy then ended the professional relationship, but later regretted it as the influencer’s career flourished and she lost potential earnings.

She also encourages Cassie to try sending nude photos, hoping it will lead to a breakup with Nate. Cassie, however, doesn’t realize her friend’s true intentions and excitedly asks Maddy to be in her wedding.

Things got really messed up with Rue’s storyline. She managed to get away from Laurie, but then Alamo started using her. He basically told her to erase any evidence of Trish, that dancer who tragically overdosed in the first episode. It’s a seriously dark turn for her character.

He gets Rue a job at the strip club where Trish used to work. Her job is to manage the dancers, making sure they’re satisfied, behaving appropriately, and have access to drugs. She quickly connects with Angel, a friend of Trish’s, who wants to know why Rue disappeared.

Rue finally reveals the truth, which deeply upsets Angel. As a result, Rue has to take Angel to a rehabilitation center, but things there don’t feel right.

Cal shares that the last five years have been incredibly difficult, marked by financial hardship and personal struggles that almost led to imprisonment, and he’s now relying on alcohol. Meanwhile, Nate is mismanaging Cal’s company and desperately seeking investments to keep it afloat.

Jules is now living a lavish lifestyle as a ‘Sugar Baby’ in a fancy penthouse. When Rue visits her, Jules invites her to join her for a bath.
