Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the team behind the popular Yakuza series, recently held the RGG Summit to reveal their upcoming projects. As a division of Sega, they shared a lot of exciting news with fans. Here’s a rundown of the most important announcements from the studio.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties announcement
Leading the announcements is Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. This is a remake of the third Yakuza game, coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 12, 2026. It features updated graphics, a revamped combat system, and new story content. Alongside the remake, there’s a brand new story called *Dark Ties* – a separate game (but available as part of a bundle) where players will follow Yoshitaka Mine as he uncovers the hidden depths of the yakuza world.
