Similar to many terrifying, ancient beings, the King in Yellow isn’t directly named or given a voice. Everything we know about him comes from the books mentioned in the story and what the central character, D3rLord3, says about him.
Don’t worry about this character appearing in the actual Minecraft game. He only exists within the alternate reality game (ARG), and many fans of Lovecraft and Robert W. Chambers appreciate the story’s eerie, atmospheric design more than its connection to Minecraft.
