The martial arts RPG Wandering Sword is coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026. It was revealed during the PlayStation State of Play on November 11, 2025, that the game will be available on May 26, 2026. Wandering Sword originally released on PC in September 2023.

Drawing inspiration from classic Chinese martial arts stories, Wandering Sword puts you in the role of a young swordsman who narrowly avoids death and dedicates himself to mastering the art of combat. The game lets you switch between turn-based and real-time fighting styles to suit how you like to play. In his review, Josh praised Wandering Sword as remarkably well-made, highlighting its unique ways to improve your character, learn new skills, and its beautiful graphics.
The PlayStation 5 version of Wandering Sword will be a complete package, including all previously released downloadable content. This includes the Secrets of the Eastern Sea expansion, which adds a brand new story and adventure that goes beyond the game’s main plot.
The full version of the game will include complete Japanese voice acting. The trailer didn’t say if other languages will be dubbed, or if this update will come to the PC version.
Wandering Sword is available on PC, and launches on PS5 on May 26, 2026.
