A couple is getting a lot of attention online after posting photos from their Pokémon-themed wedding, with fans loving the creative details of their big day.
TopMob has filmed a lot of unique weddings, but this Pokémon-themed wedding is definitely one of the most adorable we’ve ever captured.
A couple in Japan shared photos on X (formerly Twitter) of their unique wedding cake – a yellow frosted cake decorated with Pikachu macarons. Their wedding table also featured a special edition Pikachu decoration.
The bride’s Pokémon plush was adorned with a sweet flower on its ear, and the groom’s wore a stylish hat. To really show their love for the famous electric mouse Pokémon, two giant Pikachu figures were also guests at their wedding.
Pokemon wedding is overloaded with cuteness
The couple chose a classic white wedding dress and formal suit, but guests showed their playful side by bringing their beloved Pokémon plushies and coordinating Poké Balls.
The wedding featured Pokémon galore, from legendary creatures like Mew to faithful companions like Arcanine. The couple specifically chose Jolteon and Luxray as their favorite starter Pokémon, and plush versions of them were displayed at the wedding table, seemingly eager to enjoy the Pikachu-themed cake, which looked amazing.

You guys will NOT believe this – it was a Pokémon-themed wedding! There were over 80 guests, so it was a little crazy with so many people, but honestly, everything went perfectly. We just posted about it on X, and we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate – and of course, a special shout-out to Pikachu for making it even more magical!
It’s unclear if the couple used official Pokémon wedding rings, but their ‘I Choose You’ themed wedding is definitely one of the sweetest we’ve seen.
