Lego is releasing three new Pokemon building sets inspired by legendary creatures from the original Kanto region. These detailed models are designed for collectors and experienced Lego builders. You can pre-order them now, with the sets officially launching on February 27th.
The least expensive Pokémon building set is an Eevee figure with 587 pieces, costing $60. For $200, you can get a more detailed Pikachu and Poké Ball set with 2,050 pieces and a lightning bolt stand. Serious collectors can splurge on the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise diorama, which has a whopping 6,836 pieces and costs $650. This set includes three large Pokémon figures and a themed display stand for each one.
When you preorder the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Lego sets, you’ll also receive a special bonus, while supplies last: a Kanto Region Badge Collection. This 312-piece set features replicas of the eight badges from the original Pokemon Red and Blue games, all housed in a collectible case.
