The Oscars After-party Got Heated

You know, seeing the cast of Heated Rivalry getting all the attention at a Hollywood party? Totally expected! I was especially excited to see Hudson Williams and his girlfriend, Katelyn Rose Larson, finally make their red-carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party – he’d been at the Academy Awards earlier that night too. It’s sweet because they only just went public on social media a little over a month ago. He shared this really charming story on Instagram for Valentine’s Day about how Katelyn has been with him since way back when his car was falling apart and he was struggling to find work. Honestly, these guys always seem to have some kind of drama going on, don’t they?

So, I was watching the Oscars red carpet with Etalk Canada, and they asked about my DMs after everything came out about my relationship. Honestly, I hadn’t even looked! I figured they were probably the same as always. But what really got to me was seeing how everyone reacted to her – just accepting and supportive. She’s never been one to seek the spotlight, always saying she doesn’t want to be ‘perceived,’ so it was amazing to see the fans embrace her anyway.

Fortunately, Williams wasn’t alone in seeking attention. Connor Storrie, his co-star from Heated Rivalry, happily posed with him on the Vanity Fair party red carpet – both were wearing sheer black blouses. Williams’s delicate chiffon train suffered a minor mishap when director Nia DaCosta accidentally stepped on it, prompting Williams to jokingly declare, “Nia DaCosta! I’m not watching Bone Temple!” François Arnaud also attended the party, but Christina Chang, who famously played Yuna Hollander in Heated Rivalry, was nowhere to be seen.
