Good news for fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s world! Filming for Season 3 of the Prime Video series, The Rings of Power, has finished, according to a recent post on X from members of the show’s crew.
Production on Season 3 of The Rings of Power began earlier this year, after the Season 2 finale aired in October 2024. That finale featured a dramatic and violent death for the character Celebrimbor (played by Charles Edwards) at the hands of Sauron (Charlie Vickers). Although filming for Season 3 is now complete, Amazon hasn’t announced when the new season will be released. The series, which first premiered in 2022, tells the story of Middle-earth before the events of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
