The upcoming game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, now has a release date – September 3, 2026 – and its PC system requirements have been announced. Players hoping to experience the game in 4K resolution will need a powerful – and expensive – computer.
One of the biggest downsides to PC gaming is that you constantly have to update your hardware. New, high-end games regularly come out requiring more memory, faster processors, and especially more powerful graphics cards if you want to play them with the best settings and visuals.
The upcoming vampire role-playing game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, has demanding PC requirements. To play at 4k resolution with a smooth 60 frames per second, you’ll need a high-end RTX 5090 graphics card, which is quite expensive.
Blood of the Dawnwalker 4k requires a $3,000 PC
If you own an RTX 5090, you’re all set! But if you don’t and want to play The Blood of Dawnwalker, you’ll need to spend more than $2,500 on a graphics card.
To play the game with the best possible graphics – a smooth 4K resolution at 60 frames per second – you’ll need a powerful setup. This includes 16GB of RAM and either an Intel Core i5-13600k or AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor. Expect to spend around $3,000 for all the necessary components. Keep in mind that prices can fluctuate, and the $2,500 RTX 5090 graphics card is currently on the lower end of what’s available.
Given that The Blood of Dawnwalker is being made by the team behind The Witcher 3 and looks incredibly detailed and beautiful in the trailers, it’s not surprising the game will need a powerful computer to run. Plus, with current shortages driving up the price of PC parts like RAM, playing this game on PC is likely to be expensive.
The Blood of Dawnwalker PC Specs
If you’re okay with playing at a lower resolution than 4K, you won’t need a super powerful (and expensive) computer. Here are the PC specifications for a more affordable setup, in case you’re not interested in spending $2,500 right now:
