The retro-style game Terminator 2D: No Fate, developed by Bitmap Bureau and Reef Entertainment, has faced several delays. Originally planned for a Halloween release, it was first moved to late November due to tariffs. Now, the game has been delayed once more, and the developers hope this will be the final push to release it.
Reef Entertainment announced on Steam that their game will now be released on December 12th, for both physical copies and digital downloads. They’ve received the game discs, but need a little more time to finish assembling the boxed versions.
We deeply apologize for the ongoing delays. We truly appreciate your patience and never want to let our players down. We’re committed to delivering the game you deserve, and we’re very close to achieving that. Thank you for your continued support – we’re so grateful and excited for you to soon play Terminator 2D: No Fate.
This game is inspired by Terminator 2: Judgment Day, putting you in control of Sarah Connor and the T-800 as they fight to protect John Connor from the dangerous T-1000. If you survive, you might even be able to stop Skynet and save humanity from destruction. You’ll also get to play as the grown-up John Connor in sections set during the future war against the machines.
Terminator 2D: No Fate will be available in two versions. The standard version costs $60, and a collector’s edition is priced at $120. The collector’s edition comes with extra goodies, including a reversible box cover, a cloth poster, a collectible metal coin with the game logo, a full-color instruction manual, and a special collector’s box.
