Despite recent changes, The Bachelor is coming back to ABC. According to Rob Mills, an executive at Walt Disney Television, the network isn’t abandoning the Bachelor franchise. He confirmed to Vulture that The Bachelor will return mid-season, and Bachelor in Paradise will be back next summer, even after canceling Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette.
Recent issues within The Bachelor franchise, including leaked footage of a domestic assault incident involving Paul from 2023 and the subsequent removal of his season of The Bachelorette, created uncertainty about the show’s future. Disney, under new leadership, is committed to ensuring The Bachelor returns strong. According to Mills, they are taking time to produce the best possible season, but the franchise is definitely continuing.
