Did you hear about the wedding flowers costing $50,000? As for the upcoming Devil Wears Prada sequel, Sydney Sweeney won’t be appearing in it. She actually filmed a scene, but it was cut for creative reasons, according to Entertainment Weekly. The scene was meant to reintroduce Emily (Emily Blunt), now heading Dior’s U.S. operations, while styling Sweeney as herself. Apparently, the three-minute scene didn’t quite fit with the rest of the movie and was removed. Sweeney was seen on set with Blunt last summer, shortly after the controversy over her American Eagle jeans ad. Thankfully, we can still watch her character experience wedding drama – and beautiful dresses – on Euphoria.
As a total movie buff, I’m thrilled to hear we’re getting even more fun celebrity cameos in the upcoming film! Apparently, Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, and Naomi Campbell are all set to appear, and I’m especially excited about the Giggly Squad – Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo – joining the party. They could be playing themselves or just adding some glamor as fashionable partygoers, either way, it’s going to be a blast!
