Solo Mio and Send Help are scoring over Super Bowl weekend.
The 2026 film Solo Mio features Kevin James as a man left at the altar who decides to take his planned honeymoon to Italy by himself. It’s one of a few new movies aiming to provide an alternative to the major sporting event, along with the sequel The Strangers: Chapter 3 and an extended cut of A24’s Charli XCX mockumentary, The Moment.
According to Deadline, Solo Mio is expected to make $7.4 million at the box office this weekend. This will make it the top-performing new movie, but it’s still predicted to come in second place overall. Sam Raimi’s Send Help, which was the number one movie last weekend, is expected to remain in the top spot.
