Netflix is continuing to build excitement for its hit show Stranger Things with a new documentary. Titled One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, the film offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the final season, from the initial writing stages with the Duffer Brothers to the completion of filming. A trailer was released in January, and the documentary itself will be available starting January 12th, directed by Martina Radwan.
The new trailer includes short scenes from the final days of filming. Ross Duffer shared that writing the characters’ last lines was incredibly difficult. His brother, Matt, explained the emotional weight of simply typing ‘End Series.’ The trailer also offers a glimpse into the discussion about Eleven’s fate – a topic fans are still debating even after watching the episode.
Radwan expressed deep gratitude to the Duffer Brothers for allowing him to be so involved in the making of the show. He described the year he spent on set as a fantastic experience and a true honor, enjoying watching their creative process firsthand. He wished he could have documented the show from the beginning and praised the entire team – cast and crew alike – for their kindness and willingness to share stories from the past ten years of filmmaking. Radwan was particularly inspired by the Duffers’ dedication and believes their work embodies everything he loves about the art of filmmaking.
Get ready for one last adventure. Well, other than the inevitable spinoffs.
