It’s been announced that a beloved character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars will reappear at some point in the future, as per the actor who provides the character’s voice.
What fan-favorite Star Wars: The Clone Wars character is set to return?
In a recent conversation with The Direct, iconic voice actor Jim Cummings revealed that his character Hondo Ohnaka will appear again in some manner. Cummings hinted to fans to keep an eye out for updates about Ohnaka, and even suggested that he’s had significant adventures within the Star Wars universe.
As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but hint that there’s more to come from Hondo, he hasn’t finished his story yet. One actor who stands out for me is Ohnaka, he’s a charm I simply can’t resist. He’s the kind of character you might trust… well, almost. Yet, I wouldn’t fancy playing cards with him! He cares deeply for Ezra and watches over the young ones, they call them ‘younglings’. But let me tell you, he’d never intentionally cause harm to anyone.
For those not in the know, Ohnaka is a rogue pirate who encounters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker following his abduction by Count Dooku. Later on, he resurfaces in Star Wars: Rebels, where he interacts with Ezra Bridger as well.
The specifics about Ohnaka’s future remain uncertain, yet given the expanding universe of Star Wars, there’s plenty of room for speculation that our beloved pirate could experience new adventures.
