The new Star Wars series, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, is currently more popular than Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ around the world, suggesting a lot of people are tuning in to watch it.
As of today, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is the most popular series globally, according to FlixPatrol. On Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again is currently sixth among top TV shows as of April 7, 2026. Both shows are proving more popular than other well-known series on the platform, such as Scrubs, High Potential, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Maul – Shadow Lord, created by Dave Filoni, began streaming on April 6, 2026, and concluded on May 4. The series picks up after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, following Maul as he tries to restore his criminal empire following the downfall of the Shadow Collective. Lacking strong allies and sufficient resources, he establishes a new base of operations on a distant planet beyond the reach of the Empire.
The show has been very well-received by critics, with a perfect 100% score and a 94% audience approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. These scores could change as new episodes become available.
The second season of Daredevil: Born Again premiered on March 24, 2026. The show centers on Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a lawyer who secretly fights crime as Daredevil. Vincent D’Onofrio stars as Wilson Fisk, a former criminal now working in politics. As secrets from their past come back to haunt them, Matt and Wilson are inevitably headed for a showdown.
