Perla, known as Player 072, faced a difficult journey to the final round of Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2, especially during her intense marbles game against her brother, Geoffrey.
So, Perla’s brother actually didn’t play in that Squid Game. He told her to go for it and win it for both of them – basically, he was cheering her on from the sidelines and hoping she’d take home the prize!
She won the $4.56 million prize after a dramatic final round where one player made a surprising sacrifice, the main villain of Squid Game was defeated, and another contestant suffered a painful injury. Perla now has exciting plans for how to use the winnings.

After the final episode of Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 was shown, Player 072, Perla, was asked during a question-and-answer session what she planned to spend her winnings on.
Perla explains there are a few things to do with the money. First, she wants to split it with Geoffrey. She doesn’t need a large share herself, and she credits her brother with helping her succeed.
We’re buying a house for our parents. As immigrants, our family moved here with the dream of owning a home and not having to worry about rent anymore. Our mom worked very hard with limited income to provide for us – food, a home, education, and a good life – and now we want to give her a chance to relax and enjoy a home of her own.
Then came the surprise reveal: “Lastly, I want to get a boob job. Finally. With the best doctors.”
The audience roared with laughter, but Perla immediately added, “And I also invest. Plus, I need to support my former schools – East Harlem School and Bates College, specifically the Black Student Union. And to Latinos Unidos – expect to hear from me soon!”
