Sony and Honda are teaming up to integrate PlayStation experiences into vehicles, starting with the Afeela 1. This means drivers and passengers will be able to enjoy in-game graphics, custom sound, and even stream games directly within the car.
At CES 2026 on January 5th, Sony Honda Mobility announced that the Afeela 1 will include special PlayStation features. These include a unique Astro Bot, Gran Turismo-themed wallpapers, custom electric motor sounds, and the ability to use PlayStation Remote Play directly in the car.
Afeela drivers can personalize their car’s dashboard with designs inspired by PlayStation games. One option will be visuals featuring the popular character, Astro Bot, displayed across the wide screen.
PlayStation collab comes to Afeela 1 car
The car’s electric motor sound can be personalized, letting owners choose sounds inspired by different PlayStation game themes, according to the manufacturer’s website.
The partnership with PlayStation goes even further: Afeela will let passengers play games from their PlayStation 5 or PS4 consoles directly on the car’s screen using a feature called Remote Play.

Like other games offered in cars, this one will only work when the vehicle is parked, not while driving.
Okay, so Sony and Honda teamed up, and Afeela is their first car! Basically, they’re taking Honda’s car-making know-how and mixing it with all of Sony’s cool tech – think entertainment systems, software, and sensors – to build something totally new. As a gamer, I’m really hoping for some serious integration with PlayStation!
The Afeela 1 is expected to be available in 2026, with a starting price of around $89,900. More advanced versions will likely cost over $100,000.
