Binance, that tireless overseer of fleeting fortunes, has decided to rid itself of six tokens come April 23, sending their values tumbling like apples from a tree in a gusty wind.
The tokens facing the cruel scissors are Beefy.Finance (BIFI), FIO Protocol (FIO), FunToken (FUN), Measurable Data Token (MDT), Orchid (OXT), and Wanchain (WAN). All spot trading pairs will soon be bereft of their presence.

The exchange claims this is merely the outcome of a periodic review, scrutinizing development activity, trading volume, network security, and the eternal question of whether the team actually cares.
“At Binance, we periodically examine each digital asset, much like an anxious doctor checking the pulse of an elderly patient. If a coin no longer stands up to our exacting gaze-or the market landscape shifts underfoot-we conduct a deeper inspection and may expel it. Our mission is to serve users with unwavering vigilance, while also pretending to anticipate the whims of the market,” the blog declared.

The exodus was swift. FUN plummeted 27.93% mere minutes after the April 9 proclamation, performing a most dramatic nosedive. MDT, always the cautious companion, sank 22.79%, while FIO tripped at 20.51%. BIFI stumbled by 8.93%, OXT by 13.42%, and WAN barely blinked with a modest 1.24% decline, perhaps mourning politely from the sidelines.
This comes on the heels of another round of purges this month. On April 1, eight tokens, including Loopring (LRC) and Radiant Capital (RDNT), were shown the door, eliciting equally theatrical drops.
Some tokens had foreseen their doom. Binance had placed BIFI and MDT under the ominous Monitoring Tag back in June 2025. FUN and OXT joined this club in March 2026. A token under the tag is akin to a houseguest marked for leaving: it may linger, but only briefly and with increasing unease.
The label signals heightened risk and volatile behavior, a polite way of saying, “tread carefully, lest you stumble.” Binance watches these tagged assets with hawk-like scrutiny, ready to nudge the unworthy into the shadows.
