RPG Maker U2U revealed as the title of the software series’ latest entry

Gotcha Gotcha Games has officially announced the name of their new project: RPG Maker U2U. They first hinted at this game two months ago in March.

The game’s unique art style, which combines HD-2D techniques, has been officially called Perspective 2D, or P2D. When it launches, the game will include over 100 maps designed to work with this new system.

The company hasn’t announced which computers and systems the new software will work on yet. But they have said it’s built with the same Unity engine as RPG Maker Unite, and that you’ll be able to use content you already have from previous RPG Maker games.

The official trailer and details for RPG Maker U2U are available below. Additionally, Gotcha Gotcha Games will be showcasing a demo version of the P2D Map Editor at BitSummit PUNCH in Kyoto’s Miyako Messe from May 22nd to 24th.
