The highly anticipated sequel, launched on September 12th, has been met with widespread criticism from players. Many have reported frequent crashes and performance problems on platforms like Steam.

Pitchford has often faced criticism for his statements. Previously, in May, he issued an apology after suggesting that dedicated fans should be willing to spend $80 on games and would manage to afford them.
