Quest Nutrition is adding two new snacks to its high-protein range, and is also releasing a brand new flavor of its popular Original Style Protein Chips – the first new flavor in over a decade.
Okay, so this brand just dropped some new stuff that’s totally up my alley as a gamer who needs quick fuel! They’ve got these Dill Pickle flavored protein chips – seriously, dill pickle! – and a Salted Caramel protein shake. It looks like they’re really focusing on making snacks and drinks that are packed with protein, which is awesome for keeping me going during long gaming sessions.
Quest has introduced Dill Pickle as a new flavor to its Original Style Protein Chips – the first new flavor since the chips were first released in 2014. The company describes the chips as having a strong dill flavor with a tangy, vinegar aftertaste, and each serving provides 19 grams of protein and only 4 grams of net carbs.
Quest adds Dill Pickle chips and Salted Caramel milkshake
Quest is launching new Dill Pickle flavored chips that are baked, not fried. They’re made to taste like dill pickles while being a healthy snack with lots of protein and few carbs. Plus, they’re gluten-free and suitable for people following a keto diet.
Quest’s new Salted Caramel Protein Milkshake delivers a delicious, ice cream-like experience with a sweet caramel flavor and a hint of salt. Each bottle contains 45 grams of protein, but only 2 grams of sugar and 2 grams of net carbs.

Quest understands everyone has different tastes, so they’re creating a variety of high-protein snacks to satisfy any craving, according to Emily Johnston, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Quest.
We were pioneers in developing protein chips as we know them today, and we’re still leading the way with exciting new flavors like Dill Pickle. These additions offer more choices while maintaining the same great nutrition our customers love.
So, this new release is totally jumping on the pickle bandwagon! It seems like everything – from fast food to snacks – has been going crazy for pickle flavor all year, and now this is part of it too.
This year, both Smoothie King and Cheetos tapped into the popular pickle flavor trend. Smoothie King released a limited-edition pickle smoothie, and Cheetos permanently added its Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle flavor due to customer requests.
Even Pabst Blue Ribbon got in on the pickle trend, partnering with Grillo’s Pickles to create a pickle-flavored beer. This highlights how popular pickle flavoring has become, extending beyond just typical snacks.
