Sony has announced the first game coming to PlayStation Plus Essential in December: Skate Story. Subscribers will be able to play this action-adventure game, where you play as a demon skateboarding through a unique Underworld, starting December 8th – the same day it’s released. The game Skate Story will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers on PlayStation 5. It’s also coming to PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Players will control a unique character—a being made of pain and glass—who’s been tasked by the devil to reach the Moon and eat it. If he succeeds, the devil promises to set him free.
Our hero must navigate nine dangerous levels of the Underworld, battling enemies and landing impressive skateboard tricks. Learning new tricks isn’t just for show—they’ll unlock better gear and even more advanced moves. But there’s a catch: the character is incredibly fragile, made of glass, and a single fall could be disastrous.
All of this will be presented in an original style that somewhat resembles the film TRON.
