The best superhero show on Prime Video ever made is taking the streaming world by storm.
Season 4 of Invincible is already a success on Prime Video, launching with a popular three-episode premiere. This season follows Mark Grayson as he deals with the fallout from the massive Invincible War. He’s also navigating his complicated relationship with his father, Nolan, growing closer to Eve, and facing the continuing danger posed by the Viltrum Empire.
According to FlixPatrol, the superhero series Invincible is once again a hit on Prime Video. As of March 19, 2026, it’s currently the third most-watched show globally on the platform and topped the charts in 17 countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Egypt, Poland, Sweden, and Romania.
The third season of Invincible ended with a significant shift for Mark. After a brutal fight where his brother, Oliver, almost died facing Conquest, Mark vowed to eliminate any supervillain who posed a threat to his family. He also committed to stopping another “Invincible War” – a multiversal conflict initiated by Angstrom Levy who sought to destroy Mark’s world by assembling versions of Mark from different realities.
Season 4 of Invincible introduces several new characters alongside returning favorites, enriching the storyline. These include Dinosaurus, a dinosaur-like villain who can transform, an alien attacker targeting a power plant, and Thragg, the powerful leader of the Viltrum Empire. These additions make season 4 the most expansive yet, and they all contribute to Mark’s continued development as a character.
The series will differ from the original story with a new plotline centered around the character Damien Darkblood, created specifically for the TV show. The first three episodes have already proven popular with viewers around the world, which isn’t surprising. With its new annual release format and constantly growing narrative, the show is set to become a hit.
Critics are loving the fourth season of Invincible, giving it a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes as of today. Reviewers have especially praised the show’s speed, mood, characters, and overall storyline. Plus, a fifth season has already been greenlit, which suggests the series will continue adapting Robert Kirkman’s original comic book.
With five episodes still to come, released one per week, Invincible is expected to stay popular on Prime Video. As Mark tries to keep his family safe from increasing dangers, big things are bound to happen, and there will be serious repercussions.
