Thousand Generation and Bosoneon Studio have released an initial ‘Early Access’ version of their post-apocalyptic tactical RPG, Deep Fringe, on PC through Steam. The Chinese indie developer plans to expand the game with significant updates throughout the year, leading up to its official launch.
The game will stand out with its maps made of hexagonal tiles, where the terrain can change, and massive bosses that span several tiles. Players will also be able to create, and then share, their own custom levels and story campaigns.
Check out the launch trailer and screenshots for Deep Fringe below. Currently, the game supports Simplified Chinese and English, but the developers, Bosoneon, have announced that Japanese language support will be added before the end of March.

Deep Fringe Early Access is now live on Steam!
Deep Fringe is a challenging tactical RPG set in a gritty, futuristic wasteland. Command powerful groups in tough turn-based combat, and use the environment to your advantage. Change or even destroy the battlefield to gain an edge. You can also create your own stories and levels with the built-in editor.
